Christmas is a together-y sort of holiday.

A new week, a new Christmas dolly. This is Mitsuki. A sweet Asian inspired girl that came from love and wool. This doll has two of the things that I struggle with the most: Asian eyes, and a sweet smile. Have you ever noticed I don’t make many smiley faces? Is not for lack of trying though, it is because more often than not, my smile attempts look creepy and I end up changing everything to a more neutral expression or even sad. This time, I am very happy with her smile because I think it actually looks sweet. What do you think?
Changing the topics, I want you to know that Mitsuki is a baby ready for any kind of weather. She wears layers, lots of layers. That you can put on or take off any way she needs. I have always wanted to make a doll with many layers of clothing but never got around to it until now. It was fun selecting fabrics and trying to mix and match accessories. I had envisioned faux leather boots but she decided she wanted something more girly. I tried to convince her but my four attempts into the boots failed miserably, so she got what she wanted. I must say she does look pretty cute with her little golden shoes.

Let me tell you some things you should know about Mitsuki. She loves to play like all the time, and can be a little bit silly. She’s also very loving and loves to be around people. We have raised her so far with a plant based diet. So she loves coconut milk, tofu, edamame, all sorts of nuts, beans, and fruits. And you won’t believe this, but she loves vegetables, especially broccoli and beets. I hope it stays that way when she grows up. Mitsuki has been enjoying all the lights and Christmas decor. By the way, there are no decorations at the bottom of our tree because, well, she has decided they are toys to play with. At least they are all fabric, wood, and some plastics. Nothing she can hurt herself with. Mitsuki’s favorite color is red. She loves silly songs that she can finger play and dance to. Music is one of her favorite things and she dances to almost everything, even the alarm on my cell phone.

Mitsuki is a 12 inches natural fibers art baby doll. She’s fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. Her skin is DWE in beige, her limbs are fully lined and firmly filled with clean wool and glass beads. Her torso is needle felted in two parts and weighted with glass beads. Her head is wobbly and has some stability. You can prop her more easily to keep her head up. Her arms and legs have been hand sewn to her torso three times to make it extra strong. They are very floppy and bend at the elbow, thighs, ankles, and knees. Her head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and nose. Mitsuki’s hair is a hand crocheted wild brushable mohair wig cap in black color, it has been hand sewn to her head. This hair can be gently brushed and styled. Her blushing has been made with colored pencils and a beeswax crayon.
Mitsuki is not a toy. She’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. She loves to be cuddled and held but just like you would be gentle with a real baby, you need to be gentle with her. She’s easy and fun to pose and feels great to hold too.

Mitsuki will go home with the clothes and accessories you see in her photos. All items are handmade by me.

As you can see I tried to take photos of the different combinations with the clothes, so you can have an idea. My favorite part about her clothes is that she has many outfits in one.

Mitsuki’s adoption fee is 610 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free. Shipping outside Mexico needs to be by a private courier and fully insured because she is a weighted doll. Shipping to the US, Canada, and PR is 60 USDollars. Other parts of the world will need a revised shipping quote. Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
A short, 3 payments in 2 months plan is available to purchase her. However at least 1/3 of the doll’s price needs to be paid upfront, from which 50 Dollars will be taken as a non refundable deposit. Please send me a message if you need more info.
If you wish to adopt this sweet baby girl just comment below stating that you would like to adopt her, your country of residence, if you need a payment plan (this won’t affect your chances at all), and remember that the email you write should be your PayPal email address. Comments will not be visible to the public, only to me. If you are unsure if your comment went through, just send me a private message and I’ll confirm it to you.
Please only comment if you are completely sure you want this doll and are able to pay for her either in full or following the rules of the payment plan.
I will take entries for Mitsuki until Thursday December 8 at 6pm CST. If more than one person is interested in her, I will draw a name. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. If you fail to pay the invoice or answer my messages in the first 12 hours, I will draw a new name. Videos of the drawings are usually posted on my Facebook page.
If you wish to see more photos of Mitsuki you can see more photos of her here.
Here is also a little video so you can have a better idea of what she feels like.

I hope you like Mitsuki and her sweet smile. Thank you for taking a moment to meet her.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.
Read you soon.
