Baby Grinch still loves Christmas

Maybe Christmas perhaps… means a little bit more.

-Dr. Seuss

Almost done with my Christmas babies. I couldn’t let this special little one out this year. I have been thinking about making a Baby Grinch doll since the first time I saw a Grinch reborn doll about 6 years ago. I just wasn’t ready yet to make him until now. He is not the super realistic version but instead my version of what a Baby Grinch would look like. I. must say I am in love with him and even though I had my doubts during the process, I am now very happy with how he turned out.

Baby Grinch is a super mega Christmas loving baby. He lives and breathes Christmas like any other Who you know. His favorite food are Who Hash, Roast Beast, and Who Christmas Pudding. He loves writing letters to Santa and making Christmas drawings. Christmas Carols and Christmas stories are his absolute favorites. But the thing he enjoys the most is putting up the Christmas tree. I know Grinches are not supposed to like Christmas but this one surely does and if we raise him right, I know he will still love it all his life. Don’t you think?

Baby Grinch is an almost 8 inch natural fibers baby boy doll. His skin is organic cotton interlock hand dyed to a green color, his limbs and torso are firmly filled with clean wool. His head is wobbly not really floppy. His legs and arms are floppy on the shoulders and thighs. Arms are sewn directly to the torso three times for extra strength. Legs and torso are one piece. His face is firmly needle felted, soft sculpted, and hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. Baby Grinch’s hair is a wild brushable mohair wig cap hand dyed to green and sewn to his head. He also has some hair attached to his neck, wrists and ankles. He’s fully soft sculpted with some details to look like the Grinch. His blushing was made with a red beeswax crayon and it is not permanent. You will get a little piece of cloth with some blush so you can retouch it if necessary.

Baby Grinch is not a toy. He’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. He likes to play and cuddle and even though he is made as sturdy as possible, you need to be gentle with him like you would be with a real baby.

Hand wash only.

Baby Grinch will go home with only his diaper, a hand crocheted Santa hat, and his puppy Max. I will be making him a simple blanket to wrap him so he doesn’t get cold while traveling.

If you would like to see more photos of Baby Grinch you can see his album here.

Baby Grinch’s adoption fee is 250 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free through standard mail. It can be upgraded to priority at the customers expense. To the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico is 30USDollars via priority shipping. Other countries will need a revised quote.

If you would like to adopt this sweet Christmas loving baby please let me know by commenting on this post stating so. Make sure the email you enter is your PayPal one. If there is more than one person interested, I will draw a name. I will take entries for Grinch until Thursday December 1, 2022 at 5pm CST. Remember comments are only visible to me. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. You have 12 hours to pay for the invoice once I send it. If you fail to do so, I will draw a new name.

In the event that Grinch does not find a home in the time stated above, he will be announced on Instagram and Facebook as ready for adoption and listed in my shop.

This baby has found a loving home!

Thank you very much for passing by to meet this special little one. I hope you love him as much as I do.

Hope you are having a wonderful week and are already getting ready for Christmas.
