Hello everyone,
I know I should be making Christmas babies right now. This one is not so much a Christmas baby but more of a winter baby, like her name suggests.
This baby has lived in my head for a couple of months now. I wanted to make a doll that represented winter but was whimsical in itself. I didn’t want to make just a doll dressed in winter clothes, I wanted the doll to be winter. I pictured her all white like snow, with white hair and other details, more of a monochromatic doll. I made her slowly over this past week and took my time trying and deciding all the details. I hope you like her.
Winter is a winter sprite, a magical being that is supposed to take care of winter, it’s animals, and plants. They make sure winter does not come too early or too late and that it leaves at the right time as well. These creatures have different shapes depending on where they are born and what their responsibilities will be. I am not sure what kind of sprite winter is or why is she even here (hottest place in Mexico) but she has long ears and horns so I’m guessing she probably has to do something with animals, but don’t take my word for it. We probably will need to wait until she grows up to know for sure. This being said, Winter needs a home, in a cold place preferably. She needs someone to take care of her and support her until she is ready to do her winter tasks.
If you are thinking about giving Winter a home, I need to tell you, that she loves cold weather. Here, she sleeps inside the fridge most nights. She stays with me in the room, only if I have the AC on. She loves wearing cute clothes but they need to be light or have some kind of holes because she gets hot quick and she feels uncomfortable and starts fuzzing a lot. If you can keep her cold, she is the best behaved baby ever. But if it’s hot, she will fuzz and cry constantly. You have been warned.
Winter is a 7.5 inch natural fibers baby doll. Her skin is Organic Cotton Interlock in its natural color. Her limbs and torso are filled with clean wool. Her head is floppy. Her legs and arms are floppy on the shoulders and thighs. Arms are sewn directly to the torso three times for extra strength. Legs and torso are one piece. Her head is firmly needle felted, soft sculpted, and embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. She has long cotton eyelashes too. Her hair is wild brushable mohair. You can gently brush it and style it to your liking. Winter has lace horns that have been hand sewn to her head. Winter is fully soft sculpted but not anatomically correct. She has some snowflakes details embroidered on her face and body. She also has some fabric sparkly paint through her face and one side of the body.

This doll is not a toy, it is an art doll, intended for adults and children 10 years or older that do not mouth their toys and can be gentle with their dolls.

Winter’s adoption fee is 420 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free with Standard registered mail (It can be upgraded at the customer’s expense).
Shipping to the US and Canada is 35 USDollars through Mexpost (Mexican Priority Shipping). Shipping to Europe is now 40 USDollars. Other countries will be 55 USDollars.

There are new rules for shipping to the European Union. I now have to pay 5 Euros just to process the package and depending on the country the doll will travel to, you may need to pay the import taxes before the doll is sent.
