It seems like I took forever to make this doll. Actually, it took me a whole month to finish her but not because I worked on her that long, but because I had to take time off twice to visit family. It was fun and I enjoyed it of course, but I kept thinking of my little baby Miho and what she was going to look like in the end. I designed her clothes and kept changing things here and there. I actually ended up making her a bow at the last minute because she wasn’t ok with the bonnet I had planned for her. She said she already had a bonnet to sleep. Sometimes I ask myself if I have any say on what my dolls wear anymore.

Well, I must say I love how her day time outfit came out. This is for sure one of my favorites of them all. That pinafore took me many tries to get it right but it is that piece of clothing that just makes the outfit special. Now I just want to give pinafores to all my dolls, haha!

Miho, is a sweet baby girl that just loves photographs, she loves to see them, she loves to pose for them, and she loves to press the button to take them too. Of course, she’s just a baby and she needs much more practice, but I think that at least the posing part, she has mastered already. You just need to look at her photos and see how happy she is in front of that lens. To be fair, I finally got my new camera, a gift from my loving dad by the way, and I sooooo love it. I really enjoyed taking her photos. It was easier than ever.

Miho is a very happy baby, she loves to laugh and giggle. She’s into songs and fingerplay, sensory play is her favorite kind of play. Sand, rocks, leaves, flowers, seeds, and water are some of her favorite things to play with. She likes the color pink, as you can probably already tell. She likes to be outside but she doesn’t like the sun to hit her face. She loves munching on apples and guavas the most and she really hates papaya. She’s a big hugger and when you hold her she will hug you tight. Is like she melts on you. I have always felt that hugs are much better than kisses and with Miho that is surely the case.

Miho is a 17 inch natural fibers art baby doll. She’s fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. Her skin is Heavy Weight Laib Yala in dark peach. Her limbs are fully lined and firmly filled with clean wool and glass beads. Her torso is needle felted in two parts and weighted with glass beads. Her head is floppy. Her arms and legs have been hand sewn to her torso three times to make it extra strong. They are very floppy as well and bend at the wrists, elbows, shoulders, thighs, ankles, and knees. Her head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and nose. Miho’s hair is a a hand crocheted black brushable mohair wig cap hand sewn to her head. Her hair can be gently brushed and restyled. Her blushing has been made with colored pencils and chalk pastels. It is not permanent and it can be refreshed with a bees wax crayon or chalk pastels. Miho’s brown eyes have been hand embroidered with DMC thread.

Miho is not a toy. She’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. She likes to play and cuddle but you need to be gentle with her like you would be with a real baby.

Miho will go home with the clothes and accessories you see in her photos. All clothes items are handmade by me.

I finally was able to shoot a video. However for some reason it came super long so I had to edit it so it was viewable. hahaha!

Miho’s adoption fee is 1,200 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free with standard mail with tracking (It can be upgraded to Mexpost or private courier at the customer’s expense). Shipping outside Mexico needs to be by a private courier and fully insured because she is a weighted doll. Shipping to the US is 75 USDollars. Other parts of the world will need a revised shipping quote. Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

A short, 3 month payment plan is available to purchase her. However at least 1/4 of the doll’s price needs to be paid upfront. Please ask for the payment plan rules if you don’t know them yet.
