Let me introduce you to the new little princess in our house, Ameera. Is not that Ameera is spoiled or likes to do everything her way. She’s actually very independent, sweet, and seems to love unexpected things…like frogs for example. Ameera loves frogs so much, she even kisses them. My husband and I joke that she’s just trying to find her prince and that’s how she became our little princess.

I decided Ameera deserved a crown. I wanted an outfit full of ruffles for her but I didn’t want it to be too hot in this weather so most of her ruffles ended up on her bottom, which is actually super cute. I thought that maybe she will move to a colder weather so I decided to make her a cozy princess like cape also.

Early on we discovered that our sweet Ameera has a love for reptiles and amphibians. If you know me, you know I have the worst phobia to reptiles. If there is a little gecko in a room, I just can’t make myself enter that room. So you see, it is very hard for me to take care of Ameera because she keeps scaring me with all her little reptile friends. And frogs, that seems to be the ones she loves the most. I can’t deal with frogs either, so if she’s outside with my husband she can play with them, no problem. However, frogs do not, under any circumstances, can go inside the house. So I had to make her a little froggy doll. She really loves it, thank God and she’s ok to keep the real ones outside for now.

If you are ok with lizards and frogs in your home maybe you can adopt our little princess. Her adoption fee is 385 US Dollars plus shipping. Shipping inside of Mexico is free. Ameera is a 16 inch preemie size natural fibers baby doll. She fits into small newborn or bigger preemie clothes. Her skin is Laib Yala swiss tricot in dark brown color, her limbs are firmly filled with clean wool, but her torso is lightly filled with clean wool and lightly weighted with craft sand inside a cloth bag to make her feel more like a baby. Her head is very floppy and needs to be supported at all times, just like a real newborn baby.  Her legs are jointed with plastic safety joints for better posing. Her face is firmly needle felted, soft sculpted, and hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. Ameera’s hair is black thick loop mohair yarn crocheted into a wig and sewn to her head. She’s fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. She weights approximately 2 pounds/ 1 Kilo.

Ameera will go home with all the clothes you see in her photos.
