The preettiest flower in the garden

Nicte, means flower in the Mayan language, and just is that this little baby is our sweet little flower. This sweet baby girl took a long time to get to us. There were many obstacles and I was very busy to finish her. But little by little, slow but steady this beautiful little girl was born.

Nicte is a little shy but very sweet. She’s calmed, very well behaved, and I must say very patient. She’s been waiting a long time for her clothes to be finished and she never ever complained. She’s the perfect companion for someone who is very busy, since she doesn’t require much attention as long as you provide her with toys.

She’s also a great hugger and loves giving hugs to everyone especially people that really need them. She has a six sense about that. She can tell who needs love and she is more than willing to give all the love that is needed.

Nicte is an 11 inch natural fibers baby doll. She’s filled with clean wool. Her head is made in the traditional Waldorf style and then needle felted to make it firm. Her skin is DWE in Mocha color. She has a cute little tushie and a belly button. Nicte’s black hair is made with a wool, alpaca, and cashmere mix yarn and is embroidered to her head. Her eyes are hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss in brown. Her blushing is made with red/orange beeswax.

Nicte can be a toy for children 3 and up. I advise you remove shoes, poncho, and headband if you are giving the doll to a child that still mouths everything. Never leave a small child with a stuffed toy.

Nicte will go home with the clothes shown in the photos, which includes:

  • A handmade white cotton diaper with velcro
  • White dungarees with colorful accents made with the Hawthorn Dungarees pattern by Meadowfinch
  • A pair of blue and yellow booties with pink pompoms
  • A pink and green hand crocheted silk and cotton poncho
  • A headband with wool blend felt flowers

All my babies travel wrapped in a blanket and with a travel companion.
