There are so many things going through my head these days. It seems like I can’t quiet down the noise of the world. I have been taking breaks from social media and not engaging with it too much. It has hurt my following but it has been good for my soul.

Even though I am taking a break from social media I feel my dolls still make a statement on their own. I have been purposely making dolls of color since the year started (except for customs of course). Now I wanted to purposely make a rainbow doll. I know this doll does not have all the colors of the rainbow and the colors are mostly pastel, but I think she still gives the rainbow vibe in a more baby-ish pastel tone way.

If you know me you already know I want good, kind people to feel welcome always. I am an ally to love, inclusion, and understanding, not to hate, prejudice, and exclusion.I think Rainbeau represents more than one thing I stand for and that is what makes her even more special. I was having a hard time naming her and then I saw this alternative version of the spelling of “Rainbow”, and I thought that was a good name for a doll, especially one with a whimsical, rainbow outfit.

Now officially meet Rainbeau, my new little joyful baby. I made rainbow by resizing my Cuddly Baby design. I wasn’t sure it would work in the beginning, but I now love how she turned out.

Rainbeau is full of joy, smiles, and giggles. She smiles even while she sleeps. Some doctors say that is gas, but we moms know better. Rainbeau is in a phase where she loves almost everything, bugs, especially butterflies, furry animals, especially cats, books, music, singing, and dancing, dirt, and flowers in all the colors of the rainbow. I believe her favorite color is all of them. The more colors the better. She seems to always find something new and exciting to focus on. I mean she is pretty new to this world, so I guess everything is interesting to her.

Rainbeau is an 8.5 inch natural fibers baby doll. Skin is heavy weight Laib Yala in a dark brown color. Her whole body is fully lined and mostly stuffed with glass beads. She only has wool in her toes, hands, belly and buttocks. That is why she is floppy. Her head has been hand sewn to her neck twice and it is floppy. Her arms have been hand sewn to her torso three times to make it extra strong. They are floppy as well. Her little ears have been hand sewn to her head as well. Her head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and eyes. She has embroidery thread eyelashes. Rainbeau also has a sculpted bum and cute belly button. Her hair is a big loop mohair crocheted wig cap in two colors that has been hand sewn to her head as well.

Rainbeau will go home with the following clothes and accessories:

• Handmade Cotton diaper with plastic snaps
• Handmade linen and cotton romper with ruffles and embroidery detail.
• Hand crocheted booties
• Hand crocheted lead band with ears and antennae
• Handmade wool felt butterfly wings.
• Handmade little butterfly kitten.

This baby is an art doll, even though she has been made as sturdy as possible, she is to be played with gently by an adult collector or children 7 years or older that do not mouth their toys and can be gentle with the doll. SHe also contains many pieces that can tun into choking hazards in little hands.

Rainbeau’s adoption fee is 370 USDollars plus shipping.

Shipping inside Mexico is free with Standard registered mail (It can be upgraded at the customer’s expense).

Shipping to the US and Canada is 30 USDollars through Mexpost (Mexican Priority Shipping). Shipping to Europe is 35 USDollars. Other countries will be 50 USDollars. If you would like your doll to be sent with a private courier (DHL) with full insurance let me know so I can give you an accurate quote.

***Dolls going to the United States have a 10% added fee. This is something the US government has imposed and I have no control over it. It needs to be paid before I can send the doll, that is now a requirement at the post office, that means it will be added to your invoice.***

Only dolls sent through DHL can be insured.

I will take entries for Rainbeau until Thursday June 25, 2026, at 12 noon CST (Mexico City Time). Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know some people live in a different time zone, I will give until midnight CST for the doll to be paid for or else the doll will go to the next person.
