Let me properly introduce you to Azalea. My last flower baby. Even though she doesn’t have a flower custom like the mini babies, she was inspired by flowers and Spring as you can probably guess by her outfits. This sweet girl was meant to be finished last month but as always, life happens and plans change.

Azalea has been so happy this Spring. We have had some cold days mixed with very hot ones and she loves it. She can get cozy and cuddly one day and jump in the kiddie pool the next. So much fun and excitement. Pool days are the best because she ends up so exhausted she falls asleep during story time. Did I mention how much she loves stories? Well she does, She loves Peter Rabbit the most and her favorite character is Flopsy. We have been reading quite a lot of Beatrix Potter books lately. I’m sure you have guessed what her favorite animal is and that is why a traveling friend in the form of a bunny was needed. Some other things Azalea enjoys are berries, flowers in all colors and shapes, every single furry animal, laughing, and learning new things. She has the most wonderful wondering expression.

Azalea is an approximately 12 inch baby girl. Her skin is Laib Yala in red brown. Her green eyes have been hand embroidered with DMC thread, and her hair is a hand crocheted big loop mohair wig cap with some loop stitches that has been hand sewn to her head. The wig has been hadn dyed with fabric dye. Her blushing was made with a red beeswax crayon and is not permanent. She is a natural fibers doll, filled with clean wool. Her head has been made in the traditional Waldorf style but has also been needle felted to make it firmer. Her torso is also slightly needle felted to make it firmer. She can bend her arms at the shoulders and her legs at her hips. Her head is wobbly and can tilt to the sides, front, and back. Azalea has a cute little tushie and a belly button too.

Azalea will go home with the following clothes and accessories, all handmade by me:

• Handmade bunny traveling friend

Even though this doll was made as a collectible piece, she is also made to be strong and sturdy and for play by children who do not mouth their toys. There are snaps and buttons on the clothes. These could all turn into choking hazards or be dangerous to children. If you want this doll for a child and would like me to change the snaps and buttons for velcro and felt. Let me know and I will be happy to do so.

Azalea’s adoption fee is 440 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free with Standard registered mail (It can be upgraded at the customer’s expense); to the US, Canada, and PR is 30 USDollars through Mexpost (Mexican Priority Shipping). Other countries will need a revised quote. Customs taxes and fees may apply and they are the costumers responsibility.

If you are unsure your form was delivered properly you can always send me a private message and I will let you know if it did. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know some people live in different time zones, I will give 12 hours for the invoice to be paid from the time I send it.
