How are you all doing these days? Is the warm weather making you happy or miserable? Here is pretty hot but we fight it with trips to the beach and hours in the kiddie pool. We all participate in washing the car or bathing our dog. Seems like everyone is willing to help if the chore involves water. hahaha! Is a good way to have some quality family time.

I think with all the fun, the baby that came out of my hands got some of that too. I present to you, Antonio, a handful of joy, mischief, and laughter.

Don’t let that confused look deceive you. He definitely knows what he’s doing and who he’s doing it with. He melts my heart every day and he knows it. That is mostly why he gets away with everything I must say. This little guy is very energetic to say the least. He’s always looking for something new and adventurous, or should I say dangerous, haha! He climbs on everything and likes to stand on things for no apparent reason. Even things that can’t hold him or have wheels. This baby is not for the faint of heart because he will give you mini heart attacks throughout the day. You will be falling asleep right next to him and wake up to him sitting on your head or jumping on your belly. He has way too much energy and seems like it will never stop, but I promise, around 7pm, everything starts to slow down and by 7:30pm he’s usually asleep. So make sure you start the sleeping routine early if you adopt him. Also be prepared to wake up before 6am every day.

He’s also very loving and smart. He will show you as much love as possible all the time. He will fill your life with joy and laughter, and definitely excitement. He also loves animals, especially cats, and will try to hug them all. Not even scratches have made him stop. And he thinks he can hug tigers, lions, and bigger felines. So be careful if you take him to the zoo, because I am 90% positive that he will try to hug them too.

Antonio is a 12 inches natural fibers art baby doll. He’s fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. His skin is Waldorfia Hago in dark brown, his limbs are fully lined and firmly filled with clean wool and glass beads. His torso is needle felted in two parts and weighted with glass beads. His head is wobbly and has some stability. You can prop him more easily to keep his head up. His arms and legs have been hand sewn to his torso three times to make it extra strong. They are very floppy and bend at the elbow, thighs, ankles, and knees. His head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and nose. Antonio’s hair is a hand crocheted big loop mohair cap in a black color, it has been hand sewn to his head. This hair cannot be brushed. His blushing has been made with a beeswax crayon.

Antonio is not a toy. He’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. He loves to be cuddled and held but just like you would be gentle with a real baby, you need to be gentle with him. He’s easy and fun to pose and feels great to hold too.

Antonio will go home with the clothes and accessories you see in his photos. All items are handmade by me.

Antonio’s adoption fee is 610 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free. Shipping outside Mexico needs to be by a private courier and fully insured because he is a weighted doll. Shipping to the US is 60 USDollars. Other parts of the world will need a revised shipping quote. Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

A short, 2 month payment plan is available to purchase him. However at least 1/3 of the doll’s price needs to be paid upfront, from which 50 Dollars will be taken as a non refundable deposit. Please ask for the payment plan rules if you don’t know them yet.
