Buying handmade is buying from someone who cares.

Some of you have asked about custom orders and some of you know I rarely take them. I want to slowly change that in the degree that my little ones will let me. So as a new year resolution I have decided to take 2 custom orders twice a year. I know it’s not a lot, but my little boy is only two and I don’t want to add too much stress yet.

I will only take 2 custom orders this time and only the style and sizes that will be described below. These dolls will be started in January and will take me two to three months to finish depending on size, style, and quantity of dolls per order. Yes, you can have more than one doll if you get selected.

With these custom baby dolls you will be able to choose, some of the sizes, gender, skin tone, eye color or closed eyes, hair color and style (wild brushable mohair, loop mohair, yarn, or embroidered hair). Fabric hair can be done but is limited to the choices I can find. Other hair options are available but may or may not have an extra cost, we will need to discuss it. For clothes we will talk about colors and clothes styles you like but I will tell you I work best with some creative freedom. My Pinterest and Instagram are full of photos of my previous dolls, so you can have a better idea of what I can do and what you would like your baby to look like. My work is pretty organic and every doll has its own personality. I will not make copies of my previous dolls nor from other doll makers. I don’t even think I can, every doll is unique, that is the magic of handmade. Copyrighted dolls and characters are out of the question also, I rather stay out of trouble.

Now these are the only sizes I will be offering and their prices. Prices does not include shipping.

6 to 7 inch Simple Face Baby Doll– 312 USD In this size the torso and legs are one piece. The arms and legs only bend at the shoulders and hip. Because of the small size heads tend to be more wobbly than floppy. Dolls will come dressed in a 5 piece outfit. For example: a diaper, romper, diaper cover, head piece, and booties. There will always be at least one item in crochet unless otherwise instructed by you. You can order up to 3 of these in one custom spot.

Extra outfit starts at 30 dollars for this size depending on details. I want to make sure you know that small dolls are not necessarly easier or quicker to make. Most of the time they are harder to make than big dolls. If you want this doll to be needle felted prices start at 400 US Dollars. Weight also means an extra cost both in the doll and shipping.

11 to 12 inch Simple Face Baby Doll – 410 USD. In this size the torso and legs are one piece also. These dolls have more wobbly heads, floppy arms and legs that bend at the elbows, knees, and wrists as well. They are very fun to pose. Dolls will come dressed in a 5 piece outfit. For example: a diaper, romper, diaper cover, head piece, and booties. There will always be at least one item in crochet unless otherwise instructed by you. You can order up to 3 of these in one custom spot.

Extra outfit starts at 40 dollars for this size depending on details. If you want this doll to be needle felted prices start at 621 US Dollars. Weight will also have an extra charge. 

16 to 17 inch Simple Face Baby Doll -850 USD. These dolls have floppy heads, arms and legs that bend at elbows and knees as well. They fit into most preemie clothes and they are the ones that feel most like real babies. They are very fun to pose. Dolls will come dressed in a 5 piece outfit. For example: a diaper, a dress, diaper cover, head piece, and booties. There will always be at least one item in crochet unless otherwise instructed. You can order up to 2 of these in one custom spot.

Extra outfit for this size starts at 60 dollars depending on details. A needle felted doll will start at 1,147 US Dollars. Weight will also have an extra charge. 

All baby dolls are sent wrapped in a simple blanket to keep them cozy and comfortable and with a transitional object of my choice (this is really a gift from me to the doll).

Special requests with unusual details will have an extra charge depending on the details of course.

Price does not include shipping. I usually ship my non weighted dolls internationally through standard mail with tracking or priority for non weighted bigger dolls. This only applies to the US and PR. Dolls shipped to other countries need to be shipped with priority mail in order to be tracked. Weighted dolls need to be shipped with a private courier and insured, this will raise the price of shipping significantly. 

As I said I will start working on these dolls next month and they will most likely take me 2 to 3 months to be finished depending on the size of the doll, and details. More than one doll per custom spot may also increase the time for them to be finished.

Dolls will be paid in installments but the first two payments need to be paid before I start the doll. First payment is due the day you get selected to purchase the custom spot. It is a 50 dollars (non refundable deposit) to reserve your spot. These 50 dollars will go towards the total of the doll’s price. The 50 dollars have to be paid within the first 12 hours the invoice is sent or else the spot will go to the next person. Once the deposit is paid for, I will send you an email with all the info we both need to know to make your order. Once the details have been settled, you need to pay half of the doll’s price so I can start your doll. This will mainly go towards any shopping I may need to do for your doll. The rest of the doll will be paid once the doll is finished without clothes. I will start making the clothes once the dolls is paid in full. Shipping can be paid any time you want as the doll won’t be sent until both the doll and shipping are paid in full.

Only to me. I will take entries for only 2 custom spots until Wednesday December 29, 2021 at 6pm CST. If there are more than 2 people interested I will draw names from a bowl.
