Here is the last batch of ABC babies for this year. I decided to make four for adoption since they are the last ones after all. Next year I will surely have more though. Hope you like these sweeties. And since last time we stopped at the letter G. This time we start at letter H.
H is for Hope. Hope is the first born of this batch, though it was the longest delivery of all. Her hair took me way longer that I originally intended. I usually make brushable mohair wigs with a thicker hook than what is recommended. I do this on purpose because I like my babies’ heads not to be full. On a real baby we can see their scalp and some wisps of hair, so I kind of apply the same principle to my dolls. However, this time I went with making the wig with a much smaller hook, so Hope’s hair is fuller and you can’t really see her scalp. I do like this but I’m not sure if I prefer it or if I will keep doing it like this, we’ll see.
Hope loves kitties, marshmallows, and sunsets but most of all she loves being cuddled to sleep.

Hope’s skin is Laib Yala in a tanned peach color. Her body is made with cotton interlock and is lined with cotton interlock as well. She’s filled with clean carded wool. Her head is made in the traditional Waldorf style with some needle felting to make it firmer. The head is not floppy. Her limbs are all sewn to his torso with a sewing machine so they are pretty sturdy but also very floppy. Her green eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton floss. Her hair is a white wild brushable mohair crocheted wig cap that is securely hand sewn to her head. You can gently style her hair different ways. She wears a fully lined with wool blend felt bonnet with ribbon ties and socks. She has a kitty lovie she will travel with as well. Hope is suitable for children 5 and up that do not mouth their toys.

I is for Iker, the second baby of this batch. He turned to be the chubbiest one and is the only with embroidered hair. He also has crocheted wool ties on his bonnet because I couldn’t find any ribbon that matched.
Iker loves all animals and plants. He likes to watch the rain fall and his favorite food is oatmeal.

Iker’s skin is Laib Yala in a light brown color. His body is made with cotton interlock and is lined with cotton interlock as well. He’s filled with clean carded wool. His head is made in the traditional Waldorf style with some needle felting to make it firmer. The head is not floppy. His limbs are all sewn to his torso with a sewing machine so they are pretty sturdy but also very floppy. His blue eyes and reddish hair have been hand embroidered with cotton floss and yarn. He wears a fully lined with wool blend felt bonnet with yarn ties, and socks. He has a kitty lovie he will travel with as well. Iker is suitable for young children only if you take off his hat and socks. If you keep the socks and hat he is suitable for children 5 and up that do not mouth their toys.

J is for Julia, our second girl and the only one with knit fabric hair. I got a little creative with her hair and gave her some pigtails and I really, really love it. I need to make this hairstyle more often as I think it is so cute.
Julia is in love with the moon and asks if we can go visit it every day. She’s not afraid of the dark, she actually plays after I leave her to sleep. Her favorite animals are owls and she loves sour foods like lemon and tamarind.

Julia’s skin is Laib Yala in a red brown color. Her brown eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton floss. Her hair is made with brown cotton interlock fabric that has been securely hand sewn to her head. Her pigtails are then also hand sewn separately to the fabric. She wears a fully lined with wool blend felt bonnet with ribbon ties and socks. She has a kitty lovie she will travel with as well. Julia is suitable for children 5 and up that do not mouth their toys.

K is for Kahlil. Our fourth baby and second boy. I think this is one of the few times I make more than one boy in a batch of babies. He’s a colorful little one. I love that his brown hair has a little reddish tint to it.
Kahlil loves rolling on the grass, watching airplanes fly and his favorite food is yogurt.

Kahlil’s skin is Laib Yala in a dark brown color. His black eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton floss. His hair is small loop mohair yarn crocheted into a wig cap and then securely sewn to his head. He wears a fully lined with wool blend felt bonnet with ribbon ties, and socks. He has a kitty lovie he will travel with as well. Kahlil is suitable for children 5 and up that do not mouth their toys.

All of these babies are looking for homes they are about 9.5 inches long each and you can have a better idea of their size by looking at the photos were I am holding them with my hand.
Each baby’s adoption fee is 100 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping to Mexico is free and 13 USDollars for the rest of the world. These babies ship from Mexico through Standard mail with tracking. They take 3 to 5 weeks to get to their destination and I cannot guarantee they will get to you before Christmas, especially with the situation of COVID-19. If you would like to have a better chance to get the doll in time for the holidays you might want to think about priority shipping.
Priority shipping is 30 USD for the US and Canada. Priority shipping to other countries would need a revised quote. It normally takes 14 working days to get to its destination in the US. It may take a week longer due to COVID-19. If you would like priority shipping please let me know before hand so I can adjust the shipping price.
If you would like to see more photos of the babies you can see them in their Album.
If you would like to adopt any of these babies, make sure you comment on this post stating the name of the baby doll: Hope for the caucasian girl with white hair and green eyes, Iker for tfor the baby boy with embroidered hair and blue eyes, Julia for the brown baby girl with fabric hair and pigtails, and Kahlil for the black baby boy with brown curly hair. If you want more than one, make sure you write the names in the priority you would like them. If there is more than one person interested in any of the dolls, I will draw a name. I will take entries for these babies until tomorrow Monday November 30 3pm CDT. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt.
By commenting you agree that you are 18 years or older. Please do not comment on behalf of someone else, that is just not fair for others.
Only Kahlil is in the shop looking for a new home. You can adopt him here.

Hope you like the last ABC babies of 2020. Thank you for taking the time to learn about them.
Will be working on a new pattern for sale and some bigger babies during the holidays, so stay tuned. Hope you are all having a great day.
Stay safe and happy.
Read you soon.
Hugs,
Aubrey
