“Sometimes,’ said Pooh, ‘the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
― A.A. Milne

Haven’t made one of these in a long time. Actually one of my first natural fibers art dolls was made in this style and size. Of course there are a couple of revisions in the pattern to make her look the way she does.
Baby Talitha was first thought to be a boy. I had a boy in my mind and had planned some outfits and all. However, once she started to take shape she revealed to be this sweet happy girl. I was first a little reluctant and tried to make her into a boy anyway but the more I tried, the more delicate and feminine she looked. Once I finished her arms she hugged my finger and I just melted and gave in. Talitha is a little sweet baby girl.

At approximately 8 inches tall, Talitha is as tiny as she is sweet and loving. She’s really a very lovable child. She can’t help but to hug everyone and everything. Talitha loves to laugh and is rarely in a bad mood, well, at least I have never seen her angry. She’s really one of those babies that never cries. She’s really delightful and full of love.

If Talitha has won your heart too. You may want to know she is an 8 inch natural fibers art baby doll. She’s filled with clean carded wool. Her skin is DWE in dark brown color. Her head is needle felted and then covered with doll skin and soft sculpted to make the features more noticeable. Her neck is floppy and needs to be supported when handled. Her legs and arms are string jointed 3 times with strong upholstery thread. She has clean craft sand in her torso to help her sit easier. Talitha is fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. Talitha’s black hair is wild loop mohair yarn crocheted into a wig cap and then sewn to her head. Her eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss in black. Her blushing is made with red beeswax.

Talitha will go home with the clothes shown in the photos, which includes:
- A handmade white diaper with safety pin
- A handmade flower print dress
- White handmade panties
- Handmade wool blend felt pink shoes
- A ribbon headband with bow
- A purple and yellow sleeping gown
- A hand crocheted yellow bonnet
- Her mint green blanket
- Her bunny lovey

Talitha’s adoption fee is 210 USDollars plus shipping (shipping to Mexico is free, 13 USDollars for the rest of the world)
