Let me introduce you to the new baby in my life.

Isn’t he the cutest thing ever!!! Well, he kind of looks like he’s going to appear in the movie Coco, but to us he is the most beautiful baby boy in the world. Now, this is not what you came here for. So let me show you my new bay doll instead.

This is Mariposa. She’s here for Spring! I know what you’re thinking, she’s a little early for spring, but here in Paradise Spring has already started. Flowers are blooming and trees are turning as green as ever. If you’d like Mariposa to bring Spring to your home, she’s ready to fly your way and make all flowers bloom.

Mariposa’s favorite activities are helping flowers bloom, flying amongst the flowers, smelling the flowers, sitting on flowers… well, you get it, she loooooves flowers. She has this little tail that helps her fly very fast. She only uses it for speed and when she needs to fly long distances. I have also seen her use it to sleep when it is a little colder than usual.

Mariposa is a 5 inch natural fibers art doll. Her skin is DWE in a dark tan color. Her face is made in the traditional Waldorf doll style with some needle felting to make it firm, then covered with doll skin fabric. Her arms, legs and body are firmly filled with clean wool and partly soft sculpted. Her arms and leg are string jointed twice for better movement. She has a floppy neck like a baby. Her wings are handmade with wool blend felt and they cannot be detached. They are green with leaf veins on the outside for camouflage and yellow and green with white embroidery details on the inside. Her detachable antennas are made with soft wire, wool blend felt flowers and have some wet felted wool in the ends. Her ginger hair is a hand crocheted brushable mohair wig sewn to her head. It can be styled different ways if you’d like. I just thought she looked cute with braids. Her eyes are embroidered with 100% cotton thread in dark green. her diaper is hand crocheted with cotton yarn and her detachable tail is made with green cotton jersey.

Mariposa’s adopting fee is 80 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free, shipping to other parts of the world is 13 USDollars.

Baby Mariposa will receive entries until tomorrow Tuesday January 16, 2019 at 6:30pm EST. After a family is selected I will send a PayPal invoice. The invoice is due upon receipt.

If Mariposa receives no entries, she will be listed in the shop and announced on Facebook and Instagram.
