I wear my scars with pride. They’re a reminder of times when life tried to break me but failed.
-Sally (The Nightmare Before Christmas)

And I present you the last Halloween baby. I thought I was going to be making Christmas babies by now but getting sick delayed everything here. Still, I feel this is good transition doll, don’t you think?
Meet Elly, the distant cousin of a famous movie character. This baby is what people may call a creepy doll that was given life by a crazy doctor. She is the sweetest baby with the best attitude. She is very kind and has a thing for skeletons and skulls. Yes, she is very sweet but also somehow creepy. Or should I say, she likes creepy stuff. She is not afraid of almost anything. She loves the dark, scary stories, and songs. I found her playing by herself at the doctor’s backyard. I worried she was going to hurt herself, I mean, she is just a baby. So I grabbed her to play with her. I took her home thinking the doctor would come looking for her and I would just explain that she was alone and give her back. But that never happened. He never looked for her. I don’t think he even noticed she is missing. I have been hearing him in his laboratory a lot lately. Maybe he has created a new dolly. Who knows.
Elly is a very easy child to take care of. She does not eat nor drink anything. She is happy playing with leaves and listening to people talk. The only time she might start crawling away is when she sees skeletons. Like I said before, she loves them very much. That is why I made her the little skeleton doll.

Elly is a 10 inch baby girl. Her skin is Organic Cotton Interlock hand dyed to a pale blue. Her eyes and scars have been hand embroidered with DMC thread, and her dark red hair is a hand crocheted cotton, wool mix yarn wig cap with loop stitch. It has been hand sewn to her head. She has a firmly needle felted face with soft sculpted features. She’s fully soft sculpted but not anatomically correct. Her blushing was made with a orange/red beeswax crayon, colored pencils, and chalk pastels and is not permanent but the color pencils will last a long time if kept away from moisture. She is a natural fibers doll, filled with clean wool and glass beads for weight. Her head arms and legs are floppy for better posing.
Spot Clean only.

Elly found a loving home. Thank you so much!
