Be happy not because everything is good, but because you can see the good in everything.

Let me introduce you to baby Malin. This baby took her time to be born. I thought I was just not inspired to finish her. You see, she was being born right when the world started to change. I thought I lost my drive and that she was never going to be finished. Now every time I would go into my studio and looked at her eye less face, I would smile. She makes me happy. So one day I realized, it was not that I wasn’t inspired. It was just that I needed her here with me a little longer. I needed her sweet playful smile to make me see the beauty of it all. She accomplished her purpose with me and as the time passed by I was able to finish her slowly but surely.
Now Malin is finally ready to bright someone else’s day. Malin, is an optimistic. She sees beauty in everything and is full of positive energy, something we all need right now. She loves being outside, so it was a little hard in the beginning when she was in my studio all the time. I finally let her out in our front yard. She was so pleased and happy. She played all the time and made us smile. I hope she does the same for you.

Malin is a 20 inch natural fibers art doll. She fits loosely into most newborn clothes but I did make most of the clothes she’s wearing.
Malin’s skin is DWE , her limbs are filled with clean wool. Her torso is filled mostly with glass beads inside a big cloth bag. Her head is very floppy and needs to be supported at all times, just like a real newborn baby. Her legs and arms are floppy and very pose able. Her face is firmly needle felted, soft sculpted, and hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. Malin’s hair is a red wavy mohair wig that has been sewn to her head. It can be gently styled with wet fingers and soft brush. She’s fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. Malin weights 1.400 Kilos (3 pounds).

Malin will go home with all the clothes you see in her photos.
