It takes nothing away from a human to be kind to an animal
-Joaquin Phoenix

Little Elowyn is finally ready to be adopted. She took a little longer than expected just because being a mom is really my full time job. Elowyn has been so patient though and I’m really thankful for that. She has spent most of her time playing with our dog Canela and petting our cat León. So at least she had a good time.
Elowyn is such a sweet baby girl, she loves animals so much, she says she wants a farm. I’m not sure how that’s going to work out though, so I just told her that when she grows up, she can surely find a farm she can live at. As for now I made her a little lamb, her favorite farm animal. She says her farm will be full of sheeps, and horses, and cows, and chicken, and ducks, and so on. She says she would treat them well and would never eat them. She just wants to play all day with them. I hope she gets her wish.

Elowyn is a 16 inch natural fibers art doll. She fits into preemie clothes but I did make all the clothes she’s wearing. Her day clothes are my favorite outfit that I made so far. I’m actually really proud of it.
Elowyn’s skin is DWE in light brown, her limbs are filled with clean wool. Her torso is filled mostly with glass beads inside a big cloth bag. Her head is very floppy and needs to be supported at all times, just like a real newborn baby. Her legs and arms are floppy and very poseable. Her face is firmly needle felted, soft sculpted, and hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. Elowyn’s hair is a strawberry blonde curly mohair wig that has been sewn to her head. It can be gently styled with wet fingers. She’s fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. Elowyn weights 1.25 Kilos (2.75 pounds).

Elowyn will go home with all the clothes you see in her photos.
- Cloth diaper with a safety pin
- Dress made with a pattern by Meadowfinch
- Pink tights
- Hand crocheted diaper cover
- Handmade orange wool blend felt shoes.
- Hand crocheted yellow bow
- Footed sleeper
- Hand crocheted sheep hat
- Hand crocheted little lamb friend
