Meet April, a one of a kind 13 inch baby doll.

April is a spring baby. She loves the smell of flowers and listening to the birds sing. She can spend hours playing with leaves and rocks and she’s also fascinated with clouds.

Even though this baby is as sweet as can be, little April is not an easy baby. She fuzzes a lot and needs lots of attention. She’s happier when she’s been held or sleeping next to you. She needs and will give you lots of love. So if you’re into cuddles, kissing, and co sleeping, April is definitely the baby for you.

Handmade with lots of love and care, April is my first 13 inch size doll that is filled with wool. She also has 2 layers of fabric in her head to make her sturdier. Her face is sculpted twice, once on the inside, which also has some needle felting, and once again on the outside. Her body is made out of organic cotton interlock fabric hand dyed to a light tan color. She is partially soft sculpted having a belly button and a cute little sculpted bum. April has a hand embroidered face. Her blushing is made with a beeswax crayon. Her arms are hand sewn to her body (they are floppy) and the legs and body are one piece. The legs however, are jointed by seams in the fabric so they are floppy and the doll is very posse able. Her head is securely attached with super strong nylon thread and it is floppy, just like a real baby. Her hair is made of light brown alpaca yarn and it is hand embroidered.

Baby April is going home with a handmade diaper with velcro, yellow bloomers, a handmade dress made with the Pretty Party Dress Reggiesdolls pattern, hand crocheted headband and wool blend felt shoes. Every piece of clothes has been handmade by me. She’ll go home wrapped in a simple blanket and with a traveling friend.
