Look at what I found at the park whimpering under a tree? This sweet puppy. I know he looks a little unusual but he’s just a puppy that needs love and care. He barks, he whimpers, he growls, and even howls like a dog. He actually howls so much, especially at night. I think he doesn’t like the dark. Oh well, at least he has our dog Canela to snuggle with. He seems to like her a lot.

This little one is always smelling everything and everyone. He eats even more than Canela, and he can’t stand being on a leash. It’s ok for now because he’s so little we can just carry him, but I would like to get him used to it now so it is easier when he’s bigger and older. I named him Luciano and I think he likes it. He loves meat, all kinds of meat, I don’t think he has eaten anything else but meat since we found him. He also loves running and playing rough. He is so cute and has a very funny and unusual way of walking, almost human like. My husband thinks he’s a circus dog. He might be right. Anyways, Luciano is such a gentle, sweet pup that loves cuddling up with anyone he can. We are looking for a new home for him because even though we love him, our cat seems to not like him so much. Plus we really have our hands full with 2 kids a cat and a dog already.

Now, changing the subject, yes, I made my second kind of creepy cutie of this season. A werepup. I have been thinking about making one of these for a while now. I gave it a hard thought last year but didn’t feel ready to try yet. Since I had a whole year to dream about this baby, I decided this year I would at least try. And here we are. Luciano was not an easy baby to make. I had to design him to then discover not everything was going to work, and then change a couple of things along the way. I made his face twice and I must say I didn’t think he was cute until I put hair on his head. At that time, I truly fell in love with this little one and his puppy eyes.

Luciano is an almost 8 inch natural fibers baby doll. His skin is Laib Yala in reddish brown. His limbs and torso are firmly filled with clean wool. His head is floppy. His legs and arms are floppy on the shoulders and thighs. Arms are sewn directly to the torso three times for extra strength. Legs and torso are one piece. His head is firmly needle felted, soft sculpted, and hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. His nose is Laib Yala in dark brown. Luciano’s fur is all hand crocheted with brushable mohair yarn. It has been hand sewn to his body. His blushing was made with a red beeswax crayon and it is not permanent. You will get a little piece of cloth with some blush so you can retouch it if necessary. Luciano is fully soft sculpted and has many details that make him a very unique werepup doll.

This baby is not a toy. This is an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 7 and up. Luciano likes to play and cuddle and even though he was made as sturdy as possible, you need to be gentle with him like you would be with a real baby.

Hand wash only.

Luciano will go home with only his diaper and his wolf plushie. I will also wrap him cozy in a blanket so he can travel comfortably.

Luciano’s adoption fee is 295 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free through standard shipping, 30 USDollars to the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico via priority shipping. Other countries will need a revised quote.
