It always seems impossible until it’s done.

Hello everyone. Hope life is treating you well in your part of the world. I know times have been crazy lately. The world seems unstable at the moment but we must keep some joy in our lives. This is what this baby is about, joy, dreams, and hope.
Meet Rocco, my new baby boy. Rocco is a pig/human hybrid full of hope and wonder. I guess you can call him a dreamer. He does sleep a lot, I should say. He is a tiny baby pig that dreams of flying, mud baths, and a better future for all. He’s very sweet, and smart. He’s curious and very playful. He loves to be cuddled, sang and read to. He loves stories about pigs or with pigs in the illustrations. He loves looking at a book called “Maybe” by Kobi Yamada and illustrated by Gabriella Barouch, that is where I got the idea for his outfit. I thought I could give him some wings in case he does learn how to fly in the future. You never know. Everything is possible when you believe.

Rocco is a 10 inch baby pig boy. He is my second hybrid baby and I love him so much.
Rocco’s skin is Laib Yala in a blushed color. His nose and hooves are covered with De Witte Engel fabric. His whole body is fully lined and mostly stuffed with glass beads. He only has wool on his hooves, hands, belly and buttocks. That is why he is so floppy. His head is floppy. His arms have been hand sewn to his torso three times to make it extra strong. They are floppy as well. His head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth, nose, and eyes. His eyelashes are made with DMC embroidery thread. His hair is a hand crocheted wild brushable mohair yarn wig cap. It has been hand sewn to his head. He’s soft sculpted on some places, has a cute little tail, but its not anatomically correct. His blushing was made with an orange/red beeswax crayon.
Spot clean only.

Rocco will go home with the clothes you see in his photos. All handmade by me.

- Hand crocheted aviator hat
- Hand crocheted goggles
