The last baby of the year is ready to find a home. Well, at least the last baby I will be selling this year.

Meet Fable, a hybrid baby, a mix between human and deer, or maybe reindeer, maybe the three together, who knows. What we know is that Fable is one of a kind. She was born from human patterns. So imagine the surprise when this peculiar baby came out of her mother. Gasps and screams where heard. Her parents got worried, that she was sick, maybe she had some weird condition? Can you imagine? Later on, however, they came to find out, that they weren’t the only ones with a baby like her. A couple of minutes later, a pig/human baby was also born. A baby jaguar hybrid was crying, and an owl baby boy was just opening its wings.

Some parents kept their babies to raise them as normal as possible. Some others, like Fable’s parents, got scared, and decided to leave the baby in the hospital’s care. Which eventually started looking desperately for homes for these babies, and here is where I come in. This particular hospital contacted me to see if I could help them find a home for a special baby. Word had spread that I have helped others finding parents for special babies. So now, here I am trying to find this sweet whimsical baby a new loving home.

As I start getting to know Fable, I get to love her more. She is so sweet, calm, and kind. She likes to play a lot with other creatures, but she is never rough and always lets others start the game. She loves flowers, looking at them, smelling them, and even sometimes eating them. She is not a fan of clothes, but because it has been a little chilly here lately, she lets me put some clothes on her. She does love the flowers on her ear though. Did I meantion flowers are her favorite thing?

Fable is an 11 inch baby deer girl. I have been wanting to make a baby like her the whole year and I finally dared to try. It was a little scary to make her, as I wasn’t sure how my idea would translate into a doll. But after many do overs, I finally got something I love and I’m proud to show you all.

Now let’s keep talking about how she was made. Fable’s skin is De Witte Engel in red brown. Her whole body is fully lined and mostly stuffed with glass beads. She has wooden beads inside her knees. She only has wool on her toes, hands, belly and buttocks. That is why she is so floppy. Her head is floppy. Her arms have been hand sewn to her torso three times to make it extra strong. They are floppy as well. Her head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and eyes. Her feet are covered with a a layer of De Witte Engel in dark brown. Her eyes have been hand embroidered with DMC thread. She has long eyelashes too. Her antlers are made with Laib Yala in light brown and firmly stuffed with wool. He hair is a hand crocheted loop mohair yarn wig cap. It has been hand sewn to her head. She also has some of the yarn on her ankles and wrists. She has a firmly needle felted face with soft sculpted features. Her nose is made with De Witte Engel in dark brown. She’s soft sculpted on some places but not anatomically correct. Her freckles are made with a micron pen, and her white spots are made with fabric paint. Her blushing was made with an orange/red beeswax crayon.

This doll is not a toy, it is an art doll, intended for adults and children 10 years or older that do not mouth their toys and can be gentle with their dolls.

Fable’s adoption fee is 670 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free with Standard registered mail (It can be upgraded at the customer’s expense); to the US is 65 USDollars via DHL, insured. Dolls to the US can only be sent through private courier since the Mexican post office does not take packages to the US at the moment.

Canada is 30 USDollars through Mexpost (Mexican Priority Shipping). Other countries will need a revised quote. If you live in another country and would like your doll to be sent with a private courier with full insurance let me know so I can give you an accurate quote.

Only dolls sent through DHL can be insured.

If you would like to adopt this whimsical baby, make sure you fill out the form at the end of the post. If there is more than one person interested in her, I will draw a name. I will take entries for Fable until Tuesday December 23, 2025, at 12noon CST (Mexico City Time). Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know some people live in a different time zone, I will give until midnight CST on the same day for the doll to be paid for or else the doll will go to the next person.
