Hello everyone! Is it Christmas season yet in your part of the world? Well here, it is. There are decorations everywhere, holiday sales are starting to happen and people are already planning what they are doing for the holidays, including us of course. I must say I love Christmas, so I’m ready for some Christmas Magic!

Talking about magic, I need to tell you about some magical things happening here. You know how I usually get green babies from Whoville almost every year? Well this time I got a second Whoville baby, except this time the baby was not green, nor hairy. So how do I know it was from Whoville you may ask. Well, Whos have a peculiar kind of mousy face. It does not look creepy really but you can usually notice it. They also love Christmas, and are the only ones that are ready for Christmas since October. Also the fact that she came with a green hairy baby doll, is very telling. This Who, however, seems perfectly normal to live in Whoville, but she is here. I am not sure why though because let me tell you that this baby is the sweetest most caring, and loving baby I have ever met. She is always smiling, she is cute, she is smart, she is very alert and curious, and most important she is not green. This baby is perfect. She loves songs and books, especially Christmas ones. She loves to cuddle and laugh. She seems to make a connection with everyone, even the meanest people can’t be mean to her. The only thing that might bother some people is the fact that she wakes up every night thirsty. But if you keep water next to her bed, you can make it easier for yourself. I think it is not that big of a deal especially if you get to spend time with this sweet child.

I guess I am on a Grinch streak here. ha! I have been wanting to make a Cindy Lou Who for a while now but I usually run out of time or just can’t quite decide the details. But this time I made sure I had time for her so I made her one of the first babies of the season. She is my version of Cindy Lou Who of course, but I did want her to resemble some of both, the book and the movies characters. So she is a mix of it all, I hope you like how she turned out.

Cindy Lou is a 10 inch baby girl. Her skin is Heavy weight Laib Yala fabric. Her eyes have been hand embroidered with DMC thread, and her blonde hair is hand crocheted brushable mohair wig that has been hand sewn to her head. You can gently brush this hair and the braids can be taken off. She has a firmly needle felted face with soft sculpted features. Her blushing was made with a orange/red beeswax crayon and colored pencils. She is a natural fibers doll, fully lined and stuffed with clean wool and glass beads for weight. Her torso and legs are one piece. Her legs are loosely stuffed to give her more movement. Her head and arms are floppy for better movement also.

This doll is not a toy, it is an art doll, intended for adult collectors and children 10 years or older that do not mouth their toys and can be gentle with their dolls.

Shipping inside Mexico is free with Standard registered mail (It can be upgraded at the customer’s expense); to the US is 65 USDollars via DHL, insured. Dolls to the US can only be sent through private courier since the Mexican post office does not take packages to the US at the moment.

Canada is 30 USDollars through Mexpost (Mexican Priority Shipping). Other countries is 50 US Dollars.
