Be wise. Be brave. Be tricky.
-The Cat (Coraline)

Hello friends. Creepy babies are still in my table. Even this one is not really a creepy baby, it is actually the main character of a magical and creepy story, Coraline. I mist say i have always loved this movie, since the day I saw it for the first time. The visuals, the music, the magic mixed with creepyness. It has it all. I also read the book, but I for the first time in my life I like the movie more than the book. I mean, the book is missing some of my favorite parts of the movie. Parts that make the story more magical and entertaining.
I first thought about making just a mini me doll, you know, the one with the button eyes, like most people do when they make a Coraline inspired doll. However, I kind of wanted to make a cute baby Coraline with her own mini me baby doll, and so I did. I hope you like my version. I gave it my own twist as always, but the essence, I feel, is there.

Meet Coraline, a very curious, very active baby. She gets bored really easily and she loves being outside in the garden, especially when it is raining. As many babies, she rather play with my keys than with her actual toys. She really loves keys, and tries to open all kind of doors with them. Even when the keys don’t fit.
Coraline’s favorite foods are roast chicken, mango milkshakes, and apples. She likes playing with insects, especially dragonflies, though she is pretty scared of spiders. Cats seem to be very fond of her too and she found this weird looking, somehow creepy doll that looks a little like her. She loves the doll for some reason, but I must say, the doll gives me the creeps.
Coraline is looking for a new mom, not to be confused with the “Other Mother”. Not sure what that means, but that is what I was told by the jumping mice in my dreams. I know, sounds weird, but it is what it is.

Coraline is a 13 inch natural fibers art baby doll. She is fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. Her skin is Heavy Weight Laib Yala in pinkish fair color. Her whole body is fully lined and mostly stuffed with glass beads that also serve as weighting material to give a more realistic feel. She only has wool on her toes, hands, belly, knees and buttocks. That is why she is so floppy. Her head is floppy. Her arms have been hand sewn to her torso three times to make it extra strong. They are floppy as well. Her head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and eyes. Her eyes have been hand embroiders with DMC cotton thread. Coraline has a hand dyed, hand crocheted wild brushable mohair wig that has been sewn to her head. This style of hair can be gently brushed. Her freckles have been drawn with a micron pen. Her mouth and eyebrows have been colored with colored pencils. Her blushing has been done with chalk pastels. It is not permanent and it can be refreshed with crayons, chalk pastels, or even make up.
Spot Clean Only.
Coraline is not a toy. She’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. She likes to play and cuddle but you need to be gentle with her like you would be with a real newborn baby.

Coraline will go home with the clothes and most accessories you see in her photos. All items are handmade by me.
- Cloth diaper with snaps.

*Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.*
Only dolls that are sent through private courier can be insured in case the doll gets lost.
If you wish to adopt Coraline make sure to fill out the form at the end of the post. If you are unsure that your entry went through, just send me a private message and I’ll confirm it to you.
The doll can be paid for in two payments. Half of the doll’s price needs to be paid on the day you get selected to adopt her and the final payment a month after that. Shipping can be paid later on when the doll is ready to ship. Doll will be shipped once all the payments, including the shipping payment are completed. Payment plan will not affect your chances to win her. I draw the names at random.
Please only fill out the form if you are completely sure you want this doll and are able to pay for her in full now or according to the payment plan above.

I will take entries for Coraline until, Tuesday September 23, 2025 at 4pm CST (Mexico City Time). If more than one person is interested I will draw a name. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know we all live in different time zones, the person that gets selected will have until Wednesday September 24, 2025 at 4am to pay for the invoice. If they fail to do so, I will draw a new name.
As always by filling out the form you agree you are 18 years or older and please do not fill out the form for someone else, that is just not fair for others.
Coraline has found a loving home.

Thank you for checking out my sweet Coraline. Hope you like her very much.
Read you soon.
Hugs,
Aubrey
