The Lost Boys

Little boys should never be sent to bed, they always wake up a day older.

-Peter Pan

Hi everyone!

I have finally finished this big project. Six little baby boys with different personalities and different expressions. Meet my little Lost Boys, well my version of Peter Pan’s lost boys, and how I imagine they were when they got to Neverland and Peter started to take care of them and dress them as little animals of the forest.

I tried to match their personalities to the characters and outfits, though I made some changes with Nibs and Curly and the Twins. I hope it doesn’t ruin your expectations and I hope you like my version of these babies as different as it may be from the original.

The twins

First I want you to meet the twins, Binky and Marmaduke. They are always playing among themselves, sometimes a little rough I am not going to lie. They look like puppies that can’t stop bothering each other. That is why I thought they would be great baby wolves, given that they are actually part of the same pack. They are pretty silly boys and if you look at them closely you will notice that they each have a smirk on their face and they are each smirking to opposite sides. They are very sweet and loving but they can’t help to be silly.

Binky
Marmaduke

Binky and Marmaduke are 8 inch natural fibers baby dolls. Skin is DWE in a light peach color. Limbs and torso are firmly stuffed with clean wool. Head is floppy. Legs and arms are floppy on the shoulders and thighs. Arms are sewn directly to the torso three times for extra strength. Legs and torso are one piece. The head is firmly needle felted, soft sculpted on the mouth and eyes, and hand embroidered with DMC cotton embroidery floss. These dolls are fully soft sculpted. Their hair are orange hand crocheted big loop mohair wig cap. They have been hand sewn to their heads. This hair cannot be brushed. Ears are hand sewn to the head as well. Blushing was made with a orange/red beeswax crayon and it is not permanent. You will get a little piece of cloth with some blush so you can retouch it if necessary.

Binky and Marmaduke prefer to be adopted together, so if you are willing to do so you will have priority. If not ,they can also be adopted separately.

Tootles

Now let me introduce you to Tootles. This sweet baby boy is sort of shy, a little clumsy, but extremely sweet and well behaved. Tootles is always willing to help, even though sometimes accidents may happen, I mean he is still a baby so some clumsiness is to be expected. I feel like he is the one that wants a new home the most. He has a certain sadness in his eyes, that kind of breaks my heart and makes me want to hug him forever. He is dressed as a skunk and in a ay he reminds me of the skunk from Bambi, so sweet and shy.

Slightly

And this is Slightly. This little one is a smart cookie, let me tell you. He remembers everything. He can already hum music he heard a couple of days ago. He even dances to his own humming. He seems to understand absolutely everything you say to him and he responds with some babbling that I can almost understand, Slightly is sometimes hard to figure out. He can be very well behaved when he wants to, but there are times when he is just extremely energetic, can’t fall asleep, and won’t stay still whatsoever. But with that face, I must say, I forgive him anything. Nevertheless I thought you should know these things if you are planning on adopting him. To me hewas the perfect sly fox and he looks adorable in his costume.

Nibs

Time to meet Nibs. Our little sleepy bear. He is a little clueless about what is happening around him most of the time. I guess it is because he sleeps so much. I mean he was born not long ago, so he needs his sleep to grow big and strong. Nibs has a kind heart and likes to help everyone. When he is awake, though, he does get into trouble sometimes. He seems to be very curious and adventurous and sometimes blankets get tangled, balls dribble away, and stuffed animals may loose their heads. I swear, boys are built different. But when he cuddles with you, you seem to just go with it. Nibs is dressed as a little bear as opposed ti the Disney version of a rabbit. In my version he sleeps a lot still, so he is more of a cuddly hibernating bear to me.

Curly

And last but not least we have Curly! Curly is the sweetest. Just look at that face. He has eyes full of wonder. He is always in a good mood and makes life so easy. Curly seems to see in your soul and give it a little bit joy every time you look in his eyes. This baby plays with everyone and befriends everyone, person and animal. Everyone likes him. He has something special that no one can describe. He is very sociable and loving even at this young age. He is dressed as a bunny because I loved the contrast of his skin tone with this bunny costume. I also felt that cute little bunnies are hard not to like, just like him.

Each baby’s adoption fee is 355 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free with Standard registered mail (It can be upgraded at the customer’s expense); to the US, Canada, and PR is 35 USDollars through Mexpost (Mexican Priority Shipping). Other countries will need a revised quote. If you would like your doll to be sent with a private courier with full insurance let me know so I can give you an accurate quote. Customs taxes and fees may apply and they are the costumers responsibility. It takes me a couple of days to get the dolls ready for shipping. Note that only dolls that are sent by a private courier are insured.

If you wish to adopt one of the babies make sure to fill out the form at the end of the post with the name of the baby you are interested in. Each photo has the name of the baby underneath so there shouldn’t be any problems. If you are interested in more then one make sure you write them down in the order of preference. If you are unsure that your entry went through, just send me a private message and I’ll confirm it to you. If someone is interested in adopting both twins together, they will have priority, if not, the twins will be sold separately.

Please only fill out the form if you are serious about buying the doll, and are completely sure you want one of these dolls and are able to pay for it in full at the moment.

I will take entries for these babies until, Monday May 19 at 4pm CST (Mexico City Time) . If more than one person is interested in any of the babies I will draw a name. Once a family has been chosen, I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know we all live in different time zones, the people that get selected will have until Tuesday May 20 at 4am (Mexico City Time) to pay for the invoice. If they fail to do so, I will draw a new name.

The twins, Nibs and Curly have found loving homes. You can now find Tootles and Slightly in my shop.
