Being different gives the world color.

And the creepy cute babies are starting to show. This is the first creepy cutie of the year. Meet Herman. I don’t know what this time of the year has, but this is the time I usually get these babies. The crazy doctor that tries to revive babies seems to be more active during these months. I am not sure why he hasn’t stopped. It is obvious their families are not interested in reviving the babies, otherwise they wouldn’t end up in my doorstep. I offered to help him once a couple of years ago and now he just leaves the babies here without asking. I first got mad, who does he think he is? But as soon as I saw Herman, I couldn’t help but smile and all my anger went away. Some of you may be wondering what I’m talking about. Well, if this is the first year you are reading about this kind of babies, let me explain a little.
There is a doctor near me that cannot deal with child death, especially when it comes to babies. So he takes it upon himself to revive them in his lab. He doesn’t always succeed but when he does, he tries to give these babies back to their families. Except the families are not interested in this. He has gotten in so much trouble over the years because of his crazy experiments. Nevertheless, he keeps doing it. He might think this is his call or something. I once offered to help him find a home for a baby and ever since then, he just leaves the babies at my doorstep with no explanation. I hope you are up to speed now.
Now Herman is like any other baby, except for his skin tone, his little scars, and the screws on his head. These screws are very important because you need to connect them to a power source at least once a day, preferably at night, so the baby can recharge and keep living like a normal baby. The only thing is that he won’t grow. You see, his brain can be recharged but his body won’t grow anymore due to the fact that he is not really alive. He is some sort of a science project. He was once alive, then he was not, that is the reason he is green. Then the crazy doctor brought him back to life, that part I don’t really understand, the thing is he needs electricity and you need to recharge him every day. Oh and he will be a baby forever. I hope this answers all questions because this is as far as I know.
This baby is very sweet, very curious, and very easy going. He loves practically everything because everything is new to him. He loves to be held and snuggle a lot. So I hope whoever adopts him likes that too.

Herman, 10 inch natural fibers baby monster doll
Herman is a 10 inch natural fibers art baby doll. He’s fully soft sculpted and anatomically correct. He also has some details that make him a cute little monster. His skin is organic cotton interlock hand dyed to a green-ish gray. His whole body is fully lined and mostly stuffed with glass beads. He only has wool on his toes, hands, belly and buttocks. That is why he is so floppy. His head is floppy. His arms have been hand sewn to his torso three times to make it extra strong. They are floppy as well. His head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and eyes. Herman has no hair but has some embroidered stitches around his head, you know, where he was opened to reactivate his brain. I decided not to blush him because I felt his character wouldn’t be blushed but if you prefer me to blush him, let me know. I’ll be happy to do it and I’ll also send you a piece of cloth with beeswax to refresh his blushing.
Herman is not a toy. He’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. He likes to play and cuddle but you need to be gentle with him like you would be with a real newborn baby.
Herman will go home with only a diaper with safety pin and his ghost doll.
You can see more photos of him in his album.
Her is also a little short so you can see his movement.
