As usual Halloween gets to La Chulona earlier than in other places. This is to make sure that babies make it home before October 31st. This year, as opposed to other years, I have decided to start with a cute Halloween baby instead of a creepy cute one. Don’t worry, those are coming next.

So meet Jeremías, the sweetest pumpkin ever and my first Halloween baby this year. Jeremías has been a real easy baby to take care of since the moment he showed me his face. He did give me a little bit of work to needle felt because I changed some of my techniques just to try new things. Trying new things always takes some time to get used to. However, as soon as I saw his face I completely fell in love. He sleeps a lot and he seems to be having the sweetest dreams. he’s always smiling. The times he is awake he loves to babble, laugh, and look intensely at people. He also is now starting to turn. So make sure you are always watching him to prevent accidents.

Jeremías is a 10 inch natural fibers art baby doll. He’s not fully soft sculpted but he has a cute belly button and bum. He can be anatomically correct if you wish him to be at no extra cost. . His skin is Laib Yala in red brown. His whole body is fully lined and mostly stuffed with glass beads. He only has wool on his toes, hands, belly and buttocks. That is why he is so floppy. His head is floppy. His arms have been hand sewn to his torso three times to make it extra strong. They are floppy as well. His head is firmly needle felted and soft sculpted in the mouth and eyes. Jeremías has no hair and this is on purpose. I am still practicing this new technique as much as possible so I can teach it in the future. Her blushing has been made with colored pencils, makeup, and a red bees wax crayon. It is not permanent and it can be refreshed with a crayon.

Jeremías is not a toy. He’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. He likes to play and cuddle but you need to be gentle with him like you would be with a real newborn baby.

Jeremías will go home with most of the clothes and accessories you see in his photos. All items are handmade by me.

Jeremías’ adoption fee is 530 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free with standard mail with tracking (It can be upgraded to Mexpost or private courier at the customer’s expense). Shipping outside Mexico can be either by priority shipping or a private courier. Shipping to the US through priority is 35 usdollars. Through a private courier is 60 USDollars. Only dolls that are sent through private courier can be insured in case the doll gets lost. Other parts of the world will need a revised shipping quote. Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

I will take entries for Jeremías until, Thursday August 22, 2024 at 6pm CST. If more than one person is interested I will draw a name. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know we all live in different time zones, the person that gets selected will have until Friday August 23, 2024 at 6am to pay for the invoice. If they fail to do so, I will draw a new name.
