Are you ready for Valentine’s Day? I can’t believe Christmas is over. I still have my tree up and decorations. hahaha! I think maybe this weekend we’ll take them down. Though my kids are refusing, I guess they want to hold on to Christmas a little longer.

These last few weeks I have been pretty busy finishing my first custom order of the year, preparing everything for my daughter’s birthday next week, studying with my daughter for exams, and working on my Patreon. In between all those things, this sweet cherub was born. His name is Cupido and I’m pretty sure most of you have heard about him.

This sweet boy is one of many cherubs that usually come around February 14 to spread some love around. This one came a little early because he says he has a lot of work to do. People have been forgetting to love each other lately, and he needs to work extra this year. His happy to do so though. We see him as a sweet cherub, a baby, but he is actually a wise, sometimes mischievous being that has a very important job in this world; making people love and appreciate each other. He knows who belongs together, he knows who needs to mend things with loved ones, he knows who needs to feel loved, he has a special sense of the perfect couples and friendships. Sometimes he makes the weirdest, most surprising matches but who are we to disagree.

If you are ready to feel the power of love, this little one is looking for a home to keep doing his work. He’s into love songs, romcom movies (he has a great sense of humor), chocolates, and the color red. He loves to laugh, sing, fly around and play with his bow and arrow, he says it is part of his job, though I am not sure what he uses it for .

Cupido is a 7 inch baby boy cherub. His skin is Heavy weight Laib Yala in a red brown color. His smiling eyes have been hand embroidered with DMC thread, and his golden hair is a big loop mohair wig cap with some loop stitches. It has been hand sewn to his head. He has a firmly needle felted face with soft sculpted features. He’s fully soft sculpted. He has non detachable wings made with wool felt and feathers. His blushing was made with a red beeswax crayon and is not permanent. He is a natural fibers doll, filled with clean wool. His head arms and legs are floppy for better posing.

Cupido will go home with the clothes and accessories you see in his photos. All handmade by me.

This doll has been made as sturdy as possible but his accessories and wings can become choking hazards. This doll is intended for adults and children 10 years or older that do not mouth their toys and can be gentle with their dolls. Also because of his wings this baby boy is spot clean only. This is not a baby you can submerged in water.

Cupido’s adoption fee is 290 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free with Standard registered mail (It can be upgraded at the customer’s expense); to the US, Canada, and PR is 30 USDollars through Mexpost (Mexican Priority Shipping). Other countries will need a revised quote. If you would like your doll to be sent with a private courier with full insurance let me know so I can give you an accurate quote. Customs taxes and fees may apply and they are the costumers responsibility.

Make sure the email you enter is your PayPal one and don’t forget to write down the country the doll will be sent to. If there is more than one person interested in him, I will draw a name. I will take entries for Cupido until Friday January 19, 2023, at 12 noon CST. Remember comments are only visible to me. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know some people live in a different time zone, I will give 12 hours for the invoice to be paid from the time I send it.
