“Christmas Day will always be just as long as we have we.”
— Narrator, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

How are you all doing? Have you started decorating for Christmas? We haven’t yet. Not because we don’t want to, but rather because my little boy got sick again. He’s getting better, and I hope to start the transition to Christmas maybe this weekend. Wish me luck!
Now the news over here is that Whoville got 2 grinchy babies this year! They have no idea how these little creatures end up in their town. They had a lot of trouble with the first one and this year they got two. So the decision was made to raise them outside Whoville, so I was contacted to find them homes. So here I am trying to do so. There is both a boy and a girl and as far as I can tell they are the sweetest most snuggly little babies I have ever seen.
I do need to warn you that these babies are highly sensitive. They need loving environments with a lot of positive reinforcement to thrive. Some of you know the results that bullying caused to the first Grinch baby in Whoville. Even though he eventually got better, we don’t want to take any chances this time.

Let me introduce you to each baby. This baby boy is Griffin. He’s a goof ball and is always smiling. Ther is very little that will make Griffin upset. Maybe if you turn off Christmas music in the middle of a song. Oh yes, that will make him cry non stop. But other than that he is a very happy, even funny baby. His favorite food is Who Hash, and his favorite animal is the dog. He loves Christmas and can’t wait to meet Santa! Baby Griffin will sleep all night long as long as he is in not alone in the room. If he notices he’s alone, I promise, no one will sleep in that house until someone goes to sleep in the room with him.

The little baby girl is Grace. Grace is a snugglebug. She won’t miss any opportunity to hug and snuggle with you. She can also be a little silly and she will laugh at all your jokes, well, everyone’s jokes really. Grace’s favorite food is Who Christmas Pudding and she hates roast beast. SO make sure you don’t let her see you eating it. She will cry. She’s an animal lover. She literally loves them all. If you are thinking on adopting this sweet girl I want to make sure you know, she’s not only a co sleeper, but you actually have to hug her at all times in order for her to sleep. Like I said before, she is really a snuggle bug.

These grinch inspired babies are almost 8 inch natural fibers baby dolls. Their skin is organic cotton interlock hand dyed to a green color. Their limbs and torso are firmly filled with clean wool. Their heads are floppy. Their legs and arms are floppy on the shoulders and thighs. Arms are sewn directly to the torso three times for extra strength. Legs and torso are one piece. Their faces have been firmly needle felted, soft sculpted, and hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. These babies’ hair is a wild brushable mohair wig cap hand dyed to green and hand sewn to their head. They also have some hair attached to their neck, wrists and ankles. They fully soft sculpted with some details to look like the Grinch. The blushing and shading was made with some colored pencils, and a red beeswax crayon and it is not permanent. You will get a little piece of cloth with some blush so you can retouch it if necessary.
Baby Grinch is not a toy. He’s an art doll intended for gentle play by an adult collector or an older child 10 and up. He likes to play and cuddle and even though he is made as sturdy as possible, you need to be gentle with him like you would be with a real baby.
Hand wash only.

Each baby will go home with only a cloth diaper, with snaps, a hand knitted Santa hat, and his crocheted puppy. I will be making them each a simple blanket to wrap them so they don’t get cold while traveling.
If you would like to see more photos of these cuties, you can see them in their album here.

Each baby’s adoption fee is 275 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping inside Mexico is free through standard mail. It can be upgraded to priority at the customers expense. To the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico is 30 USDollars via priority shipping. Other countries will need a revised quote.
If you would like to adopt one of these sweet Christmas loving babies please let me know by commenting on this post the name of the baby you want. Grace for the girl, Griffin for the boy. If you are interested in both make sure you write the names in order of preference. Make sure the email you enter is your PayPal one. If there is more than one person interested, I will draw a name. I will take entries for these babies until Friday November 10, 2023 at 4pm CST. Remember comments are only visible to me. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt. Because I know we all live in different time zones, the person that gets selected will have until Saturday November 11, 2023 at 6am to pay for the invoice. If they fail to do so, I will draw a new name.
By commenting you agree that you are 18 years or older. Please do not comment on behalf of someone else, that is just not fair for others.
In the event one or both of these babies don’t find a home in the time stated above, they will be announced on Instagram and Facebook as ready for adoption and listed in my shop.

I hope these Christmas babies have brought a big smile to your face. Thank you for coming to meet them.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.
Read you soon.
Hugs,
Aubrey
