Ready for the holidays

The true spirit of Christmas is love.

I guess I can’t have enough of Christmas babies. So here is a new batch completely different from the previous one. In this batch there are no boys, sorry for that. They all have dresses and an extra piece of clothing from what I usually make for this kind of dolls. I must say I really love their outfits and had lots of fun making them. I hope you love them too. Now let me introduce you to the babies.

First we have Holly. This sweet litte red headed girl was the first one to be born. She might seem serious but she’s just one of those babies that get lost in thought I guess. She loves cold weather and the colors red and green are her favorite of course. She wants to have a Christmas tree of her own so she can decorate it with toys that she will keep for herself later. Oh well, that’s what she’s been telling us, lol!

Second we have baby Hannah. Hannah is the second one but the tiniest one of all. She came out a little skinnier from the rest so her clothes have a little bit more room. She likes it that way. She doesn’t like tight clothes that she cannot move well with. Hannah asked Santa for at least 15 Christmas books, so be prepared to have many hours of reading to this baby girl. She loves books even though she still cannot read. Christmas ones are her favorite too.

One very special thing about this baby girl is that I embroidered her whole head using a new technique I had never tried before and I simply love how her hair turned out. You can see it in one of the photos below.

Last but not least is baby Harmony. Even though she was born last, she’s a tad taller than the rest. Harmony is a music lover. She loves to sing and dance, she enjoys it even more when she’s singing and dancing with someone else. She’s a hardcore hugger and even loves to see people hug each other. What does Harmony want for Christmas this year? A harp. She says and I quote “It’s the most beautifullest instrument in the world!” I’m sure Santa will get her one, she’s been such a good baby.

So as you probably already know, these new Christmas babies are all looking for new families to spend the holidays with. They were made as toy dolls suited for children 5 and up that do not mouth their toys. They are 12 inch natural fibers dolls, filled with clean wool. Their heads have been made in the traditional Waldorf style with some needle felting to make them firmer. Their eyes have been hand embroidered with cotton embroidery floss. Their skin is heavy weight Laib Yala in Dark Peach for Holly, Light Brown for Hannah, and Dark Brown for Harmony. Hands and head have been sewn to the body with a sewing machine, so they are extra strong but also floppy. Legs and body are one piece. They each have a cute little tushie and a belly button. Holly has a wild big loop orange mohair crocheted wig that has been securely hand-sewn to her head. Hannah’s hair has been hand embroidered with brown wool yarn. Harmony’s hair is a wild brushable black mohair wig that has been securely hand sewn to her head. Their clothes are made with cotton and wool blend fabrics and all have velcro closures. These dolls are pretty floppy and fun to pose.

They will each go home with the following clothes and accessories:

  • Handmade dress
  • Handmade diaper with velcro closures
  • Handmade booties
  • Handmade bonnet
  • Handmade tights
  • Simple handmade blanket
  • Their little traveling friend

If you would like to see more photos of them you can check them out here in their album.

Each doll is made to be as sturdy as possible. However, small children’s play should always be monitored. Never leave a small infant unattended with a stuffed toy.

Each baby’s adoption fee is 180 USDollars plus shipping. Shipping to Mexico is free, 13 USDollars for the US and Canada, and 20 USDollars for the rest of the world.

Priority shipping is 30 USD for the US and Canada. Priority shipping to other countries would need a revised quote. If you would like priority shipping please let me know before hand so I can adjust the shipping price.

If you would like to adopt any of these babies, make sure you comment on this post stating the name of the baby doll: Holly for the girl with red curly hair, blue eyes, and freckles, Hannah for the tan girl, with brown embroidery hair, and Harmony for the black baby girl with black hair. If you want more than one, make sure you write the names in the priority you would like them. If there is more than one person interested in any of the dolls, I will draw a name, however, I will try to give opportunity for people to get at least one baby. I will take entries for these babies until tomorrow Sunday November 8 at 5pm CDT.

By commenting you agree that you are 18 years or older. Please do not comment on behalf of someone else, that is just not fair for others. Once a family has been chosen I will send a PayPal invoice that is due upon receipt.

In the event any of these babies does not find a home in the time stated above, as usual, I will list them in my shop and announce it on Facebook and Instagram.

Thank you for passing by to meet my new babies. Hope you like them and get to adopt one.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and jolly.

Read you soon.

Hugs,

Aubrey
